Since her exchange with Dimentio on his journal, Daisy began to feel much more unusual than before. The Smash Ball had certainly screwed up her mind before, but since that morning... well, she wasn't as stable as she previously was, to put it lightly.
True to Dimentio's description of schizophrenia, Daisy was experiencing hallucinations. Every minute or so she would see something completely ridiculous, like purple dripping blobs with green bat wings; or something frightening, like the faces of demons with glowing yellow eyes smiling at her, as if encouraging her in her current task.
Her task? The abduction of Dimentio's hat.
She had failed to piss the jester off before, so she knew a sure-fire way to do so would be taking away something precious to him. But in her eye-twitching, mad giggle-filled, "tripping balls" train-of-thought, she was hyper-focused on hurting Dimentio himself, so doing something to Martha was out of the question.
So the hat would have to do.
She was once AGAIN trekking the hallways and stopped just outside Dimentio's dorm room door. Surpressing a giggle, her eyes - which were yellow from the Smash Ball's effects - began glowing brightly. She then scrunched her face up with concentration... as she floated up to the ceiling!
Apparently, keeping in a Final Smash had its extra benefits, which Daisy practiced in the privacy of her dorm (much to the amusement of Didi and Schitzo). The only price it came with was that it drained Daisy's life force a wee bit, in order to keep from losing the power of her Final Smash. In fact, she had traded so much life energy during her practicing that when she slept at night, she was in constant pain.
It hurt like a bitch every night. She felt like something was stabbing her chest and stomach from the inside. It was a wonder she didn't wake up. It was also during this time she had nightmares, horrible ones where her true self, the part of her unaffected by the Smash Ball, was running away from monsters and demons and countless other horrors. They were all intent on eating her alive.
That part of Daisy, the little bit that remained untouched, constantly tried to break out into the rest of her consciousness, but failed time and time again. And the worst part was, she was growing weaker all the time from the life force drain.
"Any minute now," whispered Daisy. "Any minute, he's gonna come out. Every night he does it without fail..."
She grinned widely. "Kekekeke... stupid clowny-face is in for a real treat..."
