Casey wandered into the bar and sank down on a stool towards the end. It had been a long day and all she wanted to do was drink herself into a lazy stupor in a place she knew she wouldn’t see anyone from work. A gay club.
She waved the bartender down and ordered a double shot of their heaviest stuff, figuring that was one way to start the evening.
She threw it back and promptly ordered a Corona, sipping from the bottle as her eyes scanned the bar. Maybe she could find a nice, hot girl to take home with her and further relieve the tensions of the day. It’s not like she would remember it in the morning anyways.

Sofia wandered into the club, not really knowing what to expect. She’d been to plenty of gay bars in Vegas, but people were a bit more open there. Then again, this was NYC. Big city, more gays by default.
She swaggered up to the bar and ordered herself a Corona, leaning her back against the bar as she sipped. She scanned the crowd and found her eyes locked on a sexy redhead at the other end. Was that…? Holy crap.
She smirked and wandered over to the other woman, her free hand shoved into her front pocket.
“Casey Novak?”
It took a moment for Casey to recognize the blonde standing beside her. Normally she was better with putting together names and faces, but the double shot and two beers were fogging her mind a bit. She blinked up at the blonde and finally smiled in recognition. “Sofia Curtis!” Her voice slurred a little and she silently cursed her low alcohol tolerance.
“Been here a while?” Sofia smirked down at her.
Casey grimaced and shrugged. “Half an hour.” She mumbled.
“Whoa. Quick start.” Sofia smirked again.
Casey raised an eyebrow and decided to change the subject. “So I haven’t seen you here before.”
Sofia chuckled. “Come here often, do you?” She winked at the redhead before continuing. “I left New York shortly after college. Moved to Vegas and entered the police academy. I’m a detective now.” She smirked. “So what have you been doing with yourself all these years?”
“I went to law school and now I’m an ADA for the Special Victims Unit just down the road.”
“Impressive!” Sofia grinned and took a swig of her beer, watching the redhead from the corner of her eye.
Casey shrugged and watched the blonde pull the bottle from her lips, a dull ache rising between her legs as she watched the slight puckering motion. She shifted a little on the stool, trying to push the thought from her mind.
She stared up at the television, suddenly remembering that it was L Word night. She watched the screen, not really bothering to listen to what they were saying. She never really cared much for the show.
Sofia followed her gaze and chuckled again. “Do they do this kind of thing a lot here?”
“Once a week.” Casey mumbled, eyes still glued to the screen.
Sofia smirked. “You know, Alice is definitely the hottest.” She murmured as the blonde appeared on screen.
Casey finally turned to look at her. “Who are you trying to kid? Helena is so much better.”
“No way!”
“Helena is a total badass.”
“And Alice is quirky and down to earth.”
“Who cares? Have you heard Helena talk? That accent is to die for.”
“I’ll give you the accent. But does she actually say anything interesting when she’s moving those pretty lips? Alice always has something to say and more often than not, it’s funny as hell.”
“But Helena is deep and she’s totally devoted to whoever she’s with.”
“So is Alice! Did you not see her with Dana?”
“Ok. I’ll give you that. But Helena has the power suits! And she means business! You can’t tell me you’ve never wanted to be the one unbuttoning her blouse.”
“No, not really.” Sofia shrugged. “It’d be more fun to fool around with Alice. I bet she’s always coming up with something interesting. Just look at the role-plays she’s done AND she plays with handcuffs!”
“But Alice is so damn…STRAIGHT. I mean even with she’s with a chick, she wants the penis. She’s always wanting the strap-on. Helena wants women, real, goal-oriented, passionate women.”
“Hey, passion and kinkiness can go hand in hand!”
“It’s a fine, fine line and it’s one that I’d really rather not try and walk.”
“I bet I could make you change your mind.”
Casey’s eyes widened as her jaw dropped. “Really now?”
Sofia smirked at her, her blue eyes sparkling mischievously. “I could.”
Casey raised an eyebrow, the ache between her legs increasing. “And how do you propose to do that?”
Sofia raised an eyebrow and called the bartender over. Without thinking, she settled their tabs and placed her wallet in her back pocket. She reached around and lifted the redhead off the stool, causing the ADA to squeal in shock and delight.
Casey wrapped her arms around the blonde’s neck, allowing herself to be carried from the club.
Sofia murmured softly in her ear. “I have a pair of handcuffs in my hotel room with your name on them.”
