2009
You know, I think last year I might have made a new years resolution to post more frequently and that just didn't really happen, so this year, none of that. I will post at my leisure.
I do feel, however, like I need to ring in the new LJ year with some quality material. Its always fun to look back at some highlights from the year that just came to a close. Mine include, in order of importance:
Going to two Western Conference final Stanley Cup playoff games
Graduating college
Starting grad school
Not dying
Finally seeing Taking Back Sunday
Moving into a kickass apartment with one of my best friends
Getting my PS3 online
You know, "Not dying" might seem an odd highlight, but I mean...isn't it important to be around for another year??
All in all, 2008 was mostly kind.
Some things I'm looking foward to in 2009, or things that are important that I will be doing:
Interning...somewhere
New A Day To Remember album
A trip to Austin (I swear to god, this is going to he happening!)
Starting a football season with somebody other than Jon Gruden calling the shots
Colt McCoy winning the Heisman
That's really all I've got for now. I don't think very far ahead, but most of you know that already.
As for recent excitement...there has been none. It's January 21 and I have been in class for 2 weeks now. Everybody else has been in class for one day. I don't dig that at all. This semester's slate of classes don't seem too bad. I have a marketing class, and the professor seems like a huge douche, but I'm sure I'll manage.
Am I leaving anything out?? What would you like to know??
