I watched the movie In Her Shoes last night. It was much, much better than I expected, and featured the two poems below.

Netflix kindly delivered this Neil Gaiman/Dave McKean collaboration to my mailbox yesterday (after holding it hostage over the weekend, damn them!) and despite the fact that it was already 10 pm when I got home, of course I had to watch it right away. And I was not disappointed.

It occurred to me that I haven't posted anything about Brokeback Mountain, and having seen it twice you'd think I might have something to say by now. I'm not big on reviews, because it seems to me that people tend to relate to movies like this based on their own personal experiences and not what everyone else says anyway, but here's my take on it.
