George W. Bush, on democracy: If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - so long as I was the dictator.

First off. America? Doesn't have a democracy. This isn't my opinion of how our fearless idiot is running things. Though, personally, while I don't thing the man is a genius, I don’t think he's as stupid as he appears to be. I think it's partly and act so when he screws up he can play innocent. Like the village idiot.

But anyway. A democracy involves direct one for one voting. Guess what? That isn't what you guys have (Is say you because, lets not forget. I'm not allowed to vote.) You guys hold an opinion poll and the electoral college is supposes to follow your opinion. Do they? Who knows. Uncomfortable isn't it?

A democracy would have a public vote on everything. Every bill, every action. (Which could be bleak for us Transgenics. Then again maybe not. Hard to get worse that 'kill or if you can, bring then in, experiment and then kill.')

What you all have, my fine Ordinaries, is a republic. Can't be to bad. Worked out in Star Wars. Worked out so well for them they did it twice. Old and New.

Anyway.

The fearful leader is right. A dictatorship would be easier. And here's a little secret about human nature:

No one would care as long as they weren't being mistreated.
