So, it occurred to me today that I never posted this gem up. A picture went on ragnvaeig's photostream a while back, and I hadn't thought much of it since.
That is, in fact, a Cthulhu finger-puppet. unicornlatte, on hearing of my octopi, requested one. After making the prototype, I banged out a couple more to see how long they would take, and whether I could simplify. This is the fourth, "production" model, and it fits my fingers, so it will fit damn near anyone.
Having shown it to others, I have been informed by multiple sources that I should stop wondering whether people will pay the ridiculous amounts of money to make the work worth it, and open up an Etsy shop already. More on that tomorrow, I think.
