Okay, I have to update properly now. It's early on the Saturday of Womad.. I have a house full of people asleep who I don't want to wake up. Perfect time to get writing about the adventure that was. Photos are on Flickr in the Sydney Road Trip Set.

Okay, so yesterday was a huge day. *grin*

We began getting in pretty much as it started and watching the awesome Taikoz drumming of "Eitetsu Hayashi". We were sitting in full sun, but happy because it was awesome. Ran into Kim (mavisgrizltits) and Juzzy briefly near the end. These guys were amazing.

Have just had an awesome night at Womad with Nat (dancingnat).

Started the night seeing "Labjacd" and running into Benno (jeamland), Claire, Mark (flying_tenor), Margit (margiemakes), Michael and Clara.. and saw Annelise and Karen from afar. Danced Danced Danced. :)

Moved onto watching "La Bottine Souriante" who were shit hot. They had an awesome girl doing tap dancing the whole time ( Read more... )

Got to see Fitting Rooms tonight.. a play written by one of Bruce's friends. It was really awesome. Okay, so you could be uber critical of it (as the papers did) and comment on political commentary versus comedy etc and blah blah blah.. but hey it was a well written, well acted play that got a lot of really good laughs and made some great political ( Read more... )
