"The Maw"
A Magic the Gathering (mtg) friend and I'll be opening up a shop as soon as I can save up enough money to last a while. He has a lot of ideas, but lack the funds, and I, well, you know what role I fill.
The shop'll be called "The Maw" -- if it sticks -- and made to look like a dragon, with the inside looking like a representation of the stomach without looking too gross, I hope. The main things will be RP (D&D, LARP, etc) and cards (mainly mtg, with some other trading card games) with a minor thing in board games, and if room allows, video games. Basically a Fantasy/Card Shop. The "cash register" would be a treasure chest type safe box, and he had the fun idea that the "dollars" would be the $1 coins to fit with the chest. XD Sounds fun.
I'll be the owner, and he'll be the main "here's the things. Need to how to ...? Sure!" guy. Easy enough, though we'll be working part time to keep it up, assumedly I'll still be at Wal-mart. Joys of joys. -_- We got a few volunteers, including his wife, so it could be OK staffwise.
I put a tentative date of around 4/15/2011. Yup. Tax time of '11. Hopefully I'll have $14,000-$15,000 by then. also, he'll be pushing me, so no putting it off for me. XD
