My birthday was a pretty good day. The previous night, Meshari, Meshari's girlfriend, Andre, and myself went down to Mama Nancy's for some food. That night was fun, even though I did get beat like there was no tomorrow from Shari and Dre...gotta love birthday beatdowns, pfft.
So I didn't do much on my bday at all actually. Tennis was cancled because of rain and I didn't feel like running afterwards. So I came home relaxed, and for the most part pretty much did nothing. I went to the mall, picked up a new movie..got beat by Andre some more..came home and relaxed. Thankyou to everyone who called/texted/myspaced/facebooked/IM'd b-day wishes. It meant a lot.
Today was an alright day. I lounged around, got some sleep in towards the morning which was good. Woke up, layed around..caught up on some reading and then my father and I went out to lunch at Pastimes. I saw Tom, who I played basketball with this season. It was good seeing him again. So I came home did some more reading and then walked over to the rez and ran for a bit. Running has been getting better. I get less tired which means improvement. I just have to keep it up...which I will.
Tomorrow, my friends Jason, Melissa and myself are going to the War Memorial to watch wrestling live. It will be fun. It's like a graduation gift/birthday gift for all of us. I have a feeling we'll have a good time. Might go to a party my friend Aleshia is having, not sure if I am going though..depends on what is going on for that night. I want to go running before the event, so I hope to do that.
I'm excited about moving up to school for next semester. I have a feeling it will be good for me. I'll be able to get back into shape like I did at TC3 and just getting back to that dorm life that I've missed like crazy..who knows?
The tennis team is leaving for Texas tomorrow. Whoop ass fellas..bring home a national championship!! If things work out, I'll be moving in with the tennis team at school which will be fun. The season went by fast and I'm starting to miss it. It was fun getting to know those guys and get better at my game. I will do my damn best to make the starting roster next semester next spring. Maybe I will finally get my name in the paper, and it will be under the win colum, and this time have my name spelled correctly...not spelled "Zinette."
Well, I'm tired. I have some things to do in the morning. So it looks like some shut eye for me. Leave something nice for me to read. G'night, world. Patrick~
