I came out to Mom last night.

Guess what else?

When I told her, she didn't cry, or yell at me, or even get angry.
This is what happened:

Mom: Oh Hikaru! I'm so proud that you were brave enough to come out to me!
Me: ...Mom. I'm Kaoru. Hikaru is upstairs.
Mom: I'm sorry, Sweetie.
Me: It's fine. At least my boyfriend knows which one I am.
