****ALL AUSTRALIANS YOU SHOULD READ THE DRAFT FOR THE NEW ANTI TERRORISM LAWS DISPITE ITS 100+ PAGES. Jon Stanhope decided to not respect the government saying the bill will not be shown till it is introduced into parlement and posted it on his website:

This could be one of the most brutal attack on our civil liberties and rights as australians, although I have not read it myself yet i am posting the address here hoping some of you will also take up the batton and get involved in actively understanding why and what is wrong or right about these proposed new laws.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm far too concerned with conclusions. I've been highly unhappy with my lack of want for the reasons and explainations of facts and theories and it seems that i've allways looked taken what I agree with and used the conclusion rather that the reasons to express my arguments. It was my father that concluded its conclusions that I know and reasons I lack. This is something I aim to remedy in the very near future should I be accepted into one of the 6 uni courses I applied for.
Yes its back to uni for Rick, but this time my aims are far from financial security and building the future i've tried to strive for since I ws 16. Now I aim just to learn. I want to learn about how the world works and this is why my major focus of uni will be on ecconomics and politics; the two things that drive our society more than anything else.
one morre conclusion i would like to note is that the problem with the world is impressionism and idealisation. I believe we put too much of our trust in those whom we could like to be or those that impress us and thus empower these people as if they were kings of the old free to dictate and influence. At some point we much shed our obsession with others and move onto obession with ourselves and who we are. - or something like that, I haven't given much thought to alternatives yet just that I dont like these two asspects of humanity.
