Mothers day show this weekend and other news...
Hey everyone! I just wanted to post an update really quick =) I am having a show this Saturday May 9th at 5:00 pm, down at Happy Delusions in Renton. Here is the information on that:

I have also just been working my rear off getting things fixed from ye olde computer disaster and getting things online back up and running oh and painting, lets not forget that :P Wish thats all I have been doing but oh well soon enough...So I want to let you know I have my Artfire super stocked up with tons of prints, some jewelry and lots of bookmarks(some super deluxe bookmarks even!) I have also gotten Etsy back up and running, still stocking up over there (what I will be doing as soon as Im done posting this) and that link is here:

And thats about it. I did decide to start making my own laundry powder. Flash is having sensitivity to regular detergent and I know that the regular detergents are having bad effects on our waterways so I really want to stop using them. I made it with a basic recipe I found online:
1 bar of soap shredded as small as I can get then mixed with 1/2 c. 20 Mule Team Borax and 1/2 c. Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. Then just use 2 Tbsp. per regular load.
I tried it on some towels and rags and I think it worked great! They came out smelling really clean and as far as I can tell they look really clean, the rags are pretty stained and yuky though so I think the smell says more than about how they look. So anyways that was my little experiment from yesterday and Im pretty pleased :) I want to stop using my dryer as much as I can to, mainly to cut down on our electric bill. Flash hung up a retractible clothesline for me this weekend so as soon as the rain goes away Ill be hanging my undies in the breeze :P Well I guess I better get back to work, I have a painting Id really like to finish by this Saturday but I dont know if its gonna happen, Im not going to rush it though because I looove it!
