Dead dishwasher
Hooray! Our dishwasher is dead!
No, I haven't lost my mind. My post-before-my-last-post was all about how awful the damn thing was (tl;dr NEVER CLEANED ANYTHING) and how I really wanted to rip it out and have a place to store our larger and heavier things so that I don't risk breaking something to get them out when I need to use them.
BUT--and here's the kicker--most places will only remove the dishwasher if you're replacing it. So it seems that we might end up getting one, regardless. Which I'd totally be fine with, if they'd clean worth a damn. And the only ones that clean worth a damn cost around 1000 euros.
Decisions, decisions...I'm going to call up the kitchen place and ask them if they'll remove the dishwasher and convert the space to a cupboard. It'd be nice to have our cleaning supplies back in the kitchen again.
