My very last football game of high school and it was ammmaaaazzzziiinnnngggg. Absolute. Best. Game. Ever! I, of all people, was jumping up and down and screaming the last five minutes of the game.
Two minutes to go and Saints leads 34-29. THEN, at 00:53, Uni scored and made it 37-34.
00:43. 00:30. 00:20. 00:15. It was getting down to the wire and Saints hadn't come back yet. We were all praying, holding hands, and hoping that, by some miracle, our mighty Saintsmen would score. AND THEN, 3 SECONDS LEFT ON THE CLOCK, we made our final play. 2 seconds. 1 second. At the very last moment we SCORED!
It was abolute chaos on the field and in the stands. Uni's side just stood there, kind of in shock, while we charged the field to celebrate the victory.
I have never been so into an athletic event in my entire life!!!
