Monday was the last day of class. My lovely professor brought us HOT Krispy Kreams and a final assessment. She told us that our last test scores were so bad that she would give us 5 bonus points points for each final assessment question no matter if it was right or wrong, so long as we answered the question. These free 20 or so points were then added to our low test scores. Monday was a good day.
Tuesday was Senior Design Day--the culmination of all things engineering. It was also the culmination of my college career, as I am now finished with college forever. Woah. I'm feeling sort of sentimental and nostalgic. I will be taking lots of pictures for the next two weeks.
Tuesday was also Ben & Jerry's infamous Free Cone Day. I had a wonderful cup of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and enjoyed it in the presence of some fun-loving friends.
Tuesday evening, I was on the back porch and witnessed one of our neighbors (living behind our Chaffin) walk out onto his front porch, urinate in the corner, and walk back inside.
Tuesday night was the Appleseed Cast concert. I had a lot of fun and inhaled a lot of smoke.
I took four showers within 24 hours.
Sunday, I was worrying a lot about my future (especially pertaining to finances). Monday I got two calls for interviews: one teaching position; one barista position. Tuesday I got two more interview queries. Today I received a job from a professor as a "grader" for the summer--I'll be mailed grading materials to score at my own leisure, and make fifteen smackeroos an hour. God is definitely watching out for me & answering prayer.
Tomorrow night I leave for Atlanta; Friday is Interview Fest 2006.
Life is good.
10 points for anyone who can tell me where my title comes from.
