We've had some pretty bad storms today--I got to see (and touch!) my first hail ever! It was so wonderful. Another highlight of the day was realizing that we DO, in fact, have syrup in our house! I've been eating waffles w/out syrup (b/c I refuse to purchase a new bottle of syrup right b/f school is out) for a while now and craving syrup for them each time I eat them in their peanut-buttery dryness. yesss.
Yesterday, I took the last exam of my college career. Awesome. I only need to get through senior design day and then I'm home free. Then I need to find a grown-up job. Yesterday, Micah, my roommate who is a girl and not a boy, got a job as an 8th grade English teacher at a school that she loves in Frankfort, KY, where she will be moving once she is married to Daniel, her fiance and not my fiance. I am awfully proud of her. She is my pride and joy.
