[every little part of me]
I'm in a really cheery mood tonight. Hmm. I think a lot of it was just having a generally productive day at work that just FLEW past. (I swear I was only there for like 2 hours or something, it went so fast - and it would be nice if EVERY day would be like that.) And then I went shopping after work. Hee.
I bought:
~ The Smiths - Singles CD. (WTF, how had no one bought that yet? And w/ my discount, yes, $1.50. That's right.)
~ Apt Pupil on VHS. (Haven't seen it yet, but the short story just freaked me the fuck out, so I'm dying to see the movie. And for $1.50 - yes, again - how could I pass it up?)
~ The Norton Anthology of Short Fiction. (Yes, I am THAT much of a nerd. It's not the same book as a lot of them I've used in English classes, but similar. And I LOVE short stories, and this one has my favorite EVER - "Bliss" by Katherine Mansfield - so it has to be good. Plus John Updike, who is a god of short story writing. And what makes me happiest? Yet another $1.50 purchase & OMF, the book is HUGE, like over 1000 pages huge. FUCKING AWESOME DEAL.)
~ Brown Skecher sneakers. (I seriously needed more comfortable/sneaker-type shoes for work & general outings, b/c the sneakers I have got some sort of grease stain on them, I have no idea from what, & yeah, these are much dressier. And yes, $3. For Skechers. I so love working at Savers.)
Plus I bought a 12-pack of Pepsi at Festival. But that doesn't count. :p
I think we're gonna sign the lease for the place we looked at yesterday. I'm also very excited about that. Steph & I have yet to talk once she gets home, but yes, I think this is the place. Awesome awesome.
And ok, I feel like commenting w/ ppl tonight, I've decided, so I snagged this from concertina419 and plot_ofthestory and shall attempt coherent responses to you ppl. :)
