Well I'm not really clear on how to create an icon, which really holds me back, but I doubt there's anything you can do about it ^_^

For example, http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=icon_tutorial&keyword=Beginners&filter=all has 55 entries for Beginners alone!!

Download a trial version and play around a little. Don't be afraid to submit icons as you learn! That's how we all grow and develop--I know that I still am!! I'd love to see what you can come up with!

Even if you decide icon-making isn't for you, I'd love for you to stick around and oogle the pretty icons and vote each week! Every member is appreciated here! :)

Wow. Thanks guys. I never expected to get first place. To baine, I'm sorry that my icon gets a song stuck in your head.

I personally would like to see maybe a Chibi Chibi or Sailor Saturn contest. If that's okay.

Ah, that's okay. I LIKE Moulin Rouge. It's one of my favorite movies! ^_^

Oh, thankyou! The colouring was actually an accident, hah. I made it with various layers of my own bases.

Oh, don't you love Photoshop (or whatev you use) accidents? They're always the best! Take the icon I'm posting with once I hit send on this comment. I love what I did to it and the coloring and all........but I could never repeat it. It was an accident of a lot of blended layers. :)

I LOVE accidents! ^_^

I use PSP8, but yes! And that accident made me figure out a new technique that I've been using a lot with wonderful colouring results. It's great.

Ooh, I do that too. I'll discover a technique and then all of my icons will look a little 'cookie-cuttered' for awhile!! It'll be, well, baine must have learned X this week or just liked the effect a lot b/c every icon for every contest has this element! ^^; ...Well, that's how it was over the summer when I had time to play in a lot of communities, anyway...............

Anyway, sleep time. Must be up at 4 a.m. *gags*

If you ever come up with anything, don't be afraid to let me know!!

We (as in the other mod, jadedmisery, and myself) felt that it was more fair to have unscreened posts so that you could all see who should get credit for what icon, could comment on the icons of people you like and have a little "chat group" type of thing, could post the icons in your icon journals without waiting for poll results, etc.

I look forward to seeing more work from you in the future! ^______^

It's not that I don't like the contests, i think it's mostly through not having enough time, although I will try and make more of an effort. And I do try and vote in each contest ^_^

As for ideas... I would love to see more contests featuring the outer senshi, most of the contests I seem to remember entering were based on the inners.

I think that recently, jadedmisery and I have been trying to give each senshi her own week. We just happened to do the Outers first. I know that we've also done a couple of Saturns recently. I'm not sure about Uranus and Neptune....I feel as though we have, and then I feel as though we haven't. Haha! I know we haven't done a Pluto one yet. Hmm!

I need to go through the weeks and figure out what we've done and continue the list that I started in the info page. Once I do that, we'll know what banners need to be made, too. I just haven't had the time to do it. I'll try to get around to it in the next week or two, but I can't promise!! I have an online class due on March 1st on top of the fact that I'm interning every day and getting up at the buttcrack of dawn (and not coming home until evening)!!
