Oh, thankyou! The colouring was actually an accident, hah. I made it with various layers of my own bases.

Oh, don't you love Photoshop (or whatev you use) accidents? They're always the best! Take the icon I'm posting with once I hit send on this comment. I love what I did to it and the coloring and all........but I could never repeat it. It was an accident of a lot of blended layers. :)

I use PSP8, but yes! And that accident made me figure out a new technique that I've been using a lot with wonderful colouring results. It's great.

Ooh, I do that too. I'll discover a technique and then all of my icons will look a little 'cookie-cuttered' for awhile!! It'll be, well, baine must have learned X this week or just liked the effect a lot b/c every icon for every contest has this element! ^^; ...Well, that's how it was over the summer when I had time to play in a lot of communities, anyway...............

Anyway, sleep time. Must be up at 4 a.m. *gags*

Oh, it's not terribly noticeable, but it does make for pretty effects.
