it works!
I'm much less insane today so last night's purging of all those thoughts must have helped.
Did I mention how we had.. i dunno 12-16 inches of snow here yesterday and today it's MELTED!? Yeah seriously so it snowed buckets between tues/wed, we played outside yesterday, busted out the snowmobiles and stuff (but i did NOT make a snowman cuz the stuff was toooo dry) then today most of it is melted to grasss...? MADNESS I tell you, madness. this winter is all outta whack.
tonight was women's hockey. (Did I tell yall that I'm now the VOICE for women's hockey too? the other guy quit) so that was cool. the other team (robert morris univeristy) scored a goal 13 seconds into the game! Then 2 more before the 10 minute mark or something and the game was looking horrid.. then Niagara managed to bust a goal late in the 1st period so it was only 3-1 going into intermission. I dont know what coach said but she lit a fire under their asses. the ladies scored 2 goals 20 seconds apart in the 2nd to tie it up and added one in the last minute to take a 4-3 lead into the 3rd period. They laid on the pressure with another 12 or 15 shots in the third, added an empty netter and won by a score of 5-3. Not too bad. Niagara hockey is still undefeated during games I've attended this year. Word. they play again tomorrow.
The men (ranked #17 in the nation right now baby!) are in Denver tonight.. the game was on tv and I watched a bit, they were down 1-0 (DU is ranked #7 right now so they are pretty good too) OOOOH now it's tied in the 3rd! Go PURPLE EAGLES! :) EDIT Stephen just called me down to watch the last bit of OT and Denver scored the winner with like 6 secs left. But they had 52 shots on goal and Pagliero stopped 50 of them, not bad by anyone's standards. We'll see what happens tomorrow.. I hope that game is on too! /edit
anything else? oh yeah the other day I was driving somewhere with Christopher,and out of nowhere he says "Sam, you just need to chill out. Just chill." It was hilarious. Clearly he listens, cuz I tell Benjamin that all the time.. haahah that kid is too cute.
