Worked Niagara Soccer today.. it was cold and rainy and gross. the game ended in a tie. it was out of hand though, the players and the coaches were screaming at the refs nonstop. and the players were trying to kill each other. I saw a coupla of hockey-style checks, plus some wrestling, etc. it was insane! then they went to double overtime. nobody won though, it was a tie. wildness.
then I hung around for hockey because I love hockey! Niagara v. Bemidji... and NU kicked ass! 6-2 final. they scored 3 goals in the first 5 mins of the game.. so brilliant, just gorgeous goals. the first goalie from BSU was horrible on the rebounds, just didn't cover anything up.. and our guys pounced on EVERYTHING! then the other guy (not sure when they switched) had a weak weak stick side.. just didn't see anything going on over there.. so that was nice. Niagara is FAST! and fesity. I love it. :) It really was a fun game, and I want to go back tomrorow for round 2 but the weather is supposed to be grosser than gross. if it's not too bad, I think I'll go and maybe take the boys if they want to go, but if the weather is crap, I'll stay home. we'll see. I love me some hockey though.. and there were some nice lookin fellas both on and off the ice going on tonight. I should have talked to some of them, but they move in packs and always have herds of girls close at hand. grosssss.
A few comments about the Niagara boys- arg I realized this during soccer today, this year's seniors were FRESHMEN when I started working at NU! eeeeeek! I'm old!
-Sean Bentivoglio is a frickin sweet skater, he's incredibly fast, but he CAN't FINISH worth a damn. Take a frickin shot boy! He's been like this since he was a freshman, and it's always driven me nuts, cuz he can gain the zone in 2 seconds, but can't do anything once he gets there..
-Goalie Scott Mollison thinks he's Ryan Miller with that hair. LMAO
okay enough silliness. It's really windy outside and it's making the huge flag in front of the house flap and making odd noises... just a random factoid for ya. and it's raining like 7 kinds of mofos.
what else? the Grizzlies lost in a shootout- and the Cyclones lost as well, 7-5.
