jenlemuswas nice enough to ask 5 interesting Questions. I will try to answer as best I can.
1) What do you sell in this store of yours?
I think you should know that my shop i very small .It is actually less than 600 square feet in size.
My primary focus at the store is selling the jewelry I design and make. Finding and displaying exotic rock and mineral specimens for sale is second. I also offer handmade items made by local artisans and craftspeople . Oh, and I sell local honey from a friends bee hives.
2) What is your idea of a perfect meal?
A perfect meal is a meal enjoyed with Family , Friends, or your Beloved.
3) Do you ever write your own poetry?
Yes , I am teaching myself to write. I am studying the classics to understand form and style. It will be a while until I feel comfortable enough to make my work public.
4) What draws you into the SCA? Actually, fewer and fewer things. I am devoted primarily to promoting the the study of Arts and Sciences in the SCA through example or education. Working with Individuals is very important to me. I love to see peoples' faces when they are working on a new skill or telling me about the information they have found on a subject that interests them. I feel that I don't have to be in the spotlight to be effective. I believe you can be a force for positive change one person at a time.
I do like to Feastcrat but there a e few opportunities to do that. I love cooking from medieval recipes, too.
I hate sitting through the long boring Courts . I only attend if i know awards will be given to my deserving friends and colleagues. I don't like to camp and most of the events here are held outside year round.
5) And your all time favorite Python scene? I have two. One is the Knights of the Round Table song and dance routine. I went to Doone castle in Scotland and stood in the same window frame of the Hall interior and sang some snippets from the song. ( It was surreal.) And who doesn't love the "bring out your dead" scene?
