I like my new work area
Well its 1:30 in the morning and I have just finished watching The Producers (funny movie) and if I do say so myself it has been a good day. I spent most of my day at work of course but now I work in the quickpak department. This is for packages that have to be in another city within hours. Whats so nice about this job is that we dont accept anything over 100 pounds and most of the stuff we get is only 30 plus I get to drive around the airport in a van. This means I have airconditioning in the summer and heat in the winter as well as a radio at my disposal *glee*. So today I was working with the live animals and I got to see a baby sloth. That little bugger was cute and fun to watch. He had the most content look on his face as he looked out of his cage munching on a carrot I couldnt help but laugh. So other than the sloth things were quite slow today so I got to walk around the airport just people watching. Well because of that I got to see not just one but two famous actresses. One was Jaclyn Smith. Ok I admit I had no clue who she was either. Turns out that she played one of the angels in the old Charlies Angels show. To be honest I wasnt really that excited but hey a star is a star. The seacond one is truly an honor to meet. I got to meet Carrie "Princess Leia" Fisher!!! It took a lot for me to contain my excitement when meeting her. And yes I used her real name and refrained from calling her Princess Leia. I may be a fanboy and a complete dork but I am a considerate fanboy/dork. Well that totaly made my day. What would have made it more would have been if I had remembered to keep a pen in my pocket like I usually do so no autograph for me :'( . But hey I still got to meet her and thats enought I will never forget that and for of you who dont believe I did meet her well >P on you. Well its late and Im tired so its off to bed with me.
