Boondock Saints
I know I have been on a Boondock Saints craze ever since Sarah first showed me the movie but I have to say it is an excellent film. The story is original the actors do an excellent job and are believable and the action scenes are pretty cool. It has definatly earned a spot in my movie library that I reserve for classics I cant get enough of right along with Fight Club, Oceans Eleven, The Fifth Element, Star Wars Trilogy, The Great Train Robbery, and LOTR. For those of you who havnt seen it ill give a ever small synopsis on it. Its about two irish brothers who after killing some russian mobsters in self defense decide they are on a mission from god and go out killing all those who they think are evil.
Its on this I would like to touch. What would you think if you saw in the news that two guys were going on a killing spree but they were only killing rapists and murderers. Would you be apalled at thier actions or would you be rooting them on? To be perfectly honest I dont know how I would feel about it. I think I would be shocked and disgusted that they had taken the law in thier own hands but deep down I think I would be rooting for them cause the people they killed got what they deserved. So please post in the comment section your thoughts on this.
