(no subject)
Every so often, I do this thing where I evaluate my life plans, and try to decide what I want to do. Who knows how accurate it will be, but its like playing make believe or daydreaming I guess. Anyway, I have some pretty awesome life plans for now. Once I leave Mexico, I plan to finish school, get my Sociology degree, return back to Mexico for at least the summer, then come home for only a few weeks, then off with the Peace Corps (my application is almost done, all I have to do is send in my resume which is saved on my computer at home). I'll be gone for 2 years with that, then I want to come back home and go to grad school at Duquesne for Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. There it is, the next 5 years of my life.
In the mean time though, I still lead a pretty sweet life. Yesterday I went to the desert to look for migrants who need help and to leave water. I helped lead a group of highschool students from Canada, and that was pretty cool. I love the desert, and I love the men who drive us out to the desert. They are from a drug rehabiliation center, and they are just the greatest people in the world.
I have an English lesson to teach in about an hour, Youth Group to lead tomorrow, Fair trade Coffee buisness on Friday, and then late Saturday night - MEXICO CITY! I'm definitely living the life I want, which makes me so happy. Okay, thats all...bye for now!
