Yay! Yay yay yay yay yay!

I cannot put into words how happy I am that you updated! It's like you're writing the Grey's Christmas episode that we didn't get this year!

I'm really liking Sadie in this, which is saying something because I haven't had any use for her on the show yet, but I like that she's sort of the narrator here. She has the least stakes in anything, so her objective point of view is nice.

Izzie settles in a minute or two after that, at first sitting down somewhere in the middle of the couch, equally distant from both Alex and Sadie but, after a few really tense moments between her and Alex, ones mostly in which she was looking at him and he was trying very hard not to look at her, she grabs the throw that lies over the couch and pulls it down with her as she lies down, head resting against his leg, absolutely on purpose. His entire body relaxes, slowly, measured so that you won’t notice unless you’re looking. Oh, I am so happy that she made this 'choice', for the moment at least ( ... )

It's like you're writing the Grey's Christmas episode that we didn't get this year!I intentionally started doing this when I heard we weren't getting one, actually, as a holiday present to my flist. I did it last year as well :) As for updating, I figured I might as well just split this up into smaller chunks so I could post more often ( ... )

Lexie is the little kid, whether or not she wants to be.

You know what one of my favorite non-M/L Lexie scenes is? I think it's episode 3 or 4 from this season, where Lexie is sitting with Meredith, Cristina, George and Alex at the cafeteria and Alex is slapping all of the other residents. Lexie is just sitting quietly and giggling to herself, and if you back-pedaled their ages 20 years, it's like Lexie is just so excited that her big sister is letting her hang out with her friends and it's so cute and realistic and you just want to hug her.

Yaaay an update!! I loved it. The boatload of crap hitting the fan when Izzie ran into Mark was perfect and I could really see it happening.

This story is great so far...it reminds me of a kinda-similar experience I had. Too funny.

Can't wait for part 3!

Well, now I have to hear this experience. Care to share? I know some of this is very, very loosely based off of things I've been through.

I'm glad you're enjoying this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Of course! It's reminding me a lot of all of the stuff that goes on when I go to the beach with my friends in the summer. The loud noises and running into people especially. Not exactly snowed in, but I am definintely trapped in a house with seven other people who can get on your nerves pretty easily.

Not a lot of shower sex happens, though. Damn.

Oh yeah, it definitely can. Honestly, for me, it mirrors the holidays way too closely lol.

Well, your request was plausible. And also what I sort of need in retrospect. So, yeah, you'll get your wish ;)

Glad you're still sticking around and enjoying this! Thanks for reading!

This story is sooo great! I'm so happy that you include the two couples I care about in one xmas story as well as all of the characters. I can imagine it's not the easiest to do all of them justice, but you do it perfectly. And I really like that you gave Sadie some purpose (be the sort of narrator of this *g*). I can't wait for the next update and the long overdue Mark/Derek confrontation. Merry Christmas to you and Thanks for writing and sharing this story.

It isn't easy, not going to lie, but it is certainly a lot of fun. With Sadie, I really wanted to do something with her, and somehow she just falls perfectly in the narrator role. I think it's because she's an outsider, and I like that. It gives you a more accurate picture of the other characters. And the Mark/Derek confrontation is coming...believe me.

I'm glad you're enjoying this so far! Thanks for reading and reviewing! Merry Christmas!

Great story--should be lots of fun to see what happens to the snowbound doctors!

Point of fact--it only takes 3 inches of snow at the right time of day to bring Seattle to a stop! Total snowfall in the Puget Sound area in the last week--8-12 inches, and University of Washington Medical Center has been in snow-emergency mode trying to get staff to the hospital. The freeway and some main arterials get plowed, and the side streets are still a mess a week later.

Can't wait for more story!

3 inches? Wow. See, I'm originally from Buffalo, and we need a foot or two to really phase anyone. Perhaps I overcompensated, lol. Sounds like a chaotic mess there though :(

I should have the next part up tonight/tomorrow. I'm glad you're enjoying this; thanks for reading nad reviewing!
