Yay! Yay yay yay yay yay!

I cannot put into words how happy I am that you updated! It's like you're writing the Grey's Christmas episode that we didn't get this year!

I'm really liking Sadie in this, which is saying something because I haven't had any use for her on the show yet, but I like that she's sort of the narrator here. She has the least stakes in anything, so her objective point of view is nice.

Izzie settles in a minute or two after that, at first sitting down somewhere in the middle of the couch, equally distant from both Alex and Sadie but, after a few really tense moments between her and Alex, ones mostly in which she was looking at him and he was trying very hard not to look at her, she grabs the throw that lies over the couch and pulls it down with her as she lies down, head resting against his leg, absolutely on purpose. His entire body relaxes, slowly, measured so that you won’t notice unless you’re looking.

Oh, I am so happy that she made this 'choice', for the moment at least!

And I really like the image of Lexie sitting on the floor like a little kid- I think when it all comes out she really is going to feel like she's 'in trouble' with Derek and Meredith!

Excited for Owen to come into play (he's so my Sexy Ginger) and you wrote Callie's reaction when she found out about her BFF's new FB was ideal!

Yay yay yay yay yay!

I intentionally started doing this when I heard we weren't getting one, actually, as a holiday present to my flist. I did it last year as well :) As for updating, I figured I might as well just split this up into smaller chunks so I could post more often.

Sadie is very much the narrator, or as much as she can be in a story with multiple POV's. She masterminds a lot of stuff, especially stuff that's still upcoming. I find writing most of the big scenes from her POV gives you a fairer picture of who everyone is. She doesn't truly know these people, except for Meredith, and so she serves almost as an outsider.

Izzie will be making a lot of choices in this. She can only bounce between Denny and Alex for so long before either Alex gets tired of it or things come crashing down. They don't factor in much in this part, but that paragraph certainly speaks of things to come.

Lexie is the little kid, whether or not she wants to be. However she isn't really the one in trouble. Mark is.

As for Owen, I was asked very nicely to bring him into this and I really need a bigger plot for Cristina so hopefully he'll work his way in -- never written him before.

I'm glad you're enjoying this hun! Thanks for such a wonderful review!

You know what one of my favorite non-M/L Lexie scenes is? I think it's episode 3 or 4 from this season, where Lexie is sitting with Meredith, Cristina, George and Alex at the cafeteria and Alex is slapping all of the other residents. Lexie is just sitting quietly and giggling to herself, and if you back-pedaled their ages 20 years, it's like Lexie is just so excited that her big sister is letting her hang out with her friends and it's so cute and realistic and you just want to hug her.
