Meredith/Derek
Halloween Night.. Lights go out in a elevator and they are stuck in there for hours........
Can you tell I have a thing for Meredith/Derek and Halloween?

“A power outage. In an elevator. On Halloween.” She says it out loud to make sure she isn’t asleep or imagining things. “Seriously?”
Derek gives up playing with the buttons on the wall and instead leans back against it, looking at her in the dim emergency lighting. “Apparently.”
For her part she rests her forehead against the cool metal that surrounds her and lets out a deep breath. “We must not be living right.”
“It’ll probably be a few hours.” He informs her, but he doesn’t know that. It could be an hour, it could be all night. Please don’t let it be all night. “Might as well get comfortable.”
“It’s an elevator.” She pays special attention to that last word. Because it’s all sharp edges and hard cold walls and it’s dark and something is making this incessant noise above them and she doesn’t even want to know what that means. Meredith’s never exactly been scared of the dark but this is an entirely new ballgame ( ... )
