I'd love to help out, but I've never written fic before, I've always wanted to start, so, IDK if that would help or not, but this would be quite the way to start. What do you think, would anyone bid on someone who's never written fic before?

They might. I have no idea. Honestly I think people are just looking for someone who can write something they'd want to see, experience or no. Although I'd do the 2500 word option if you're just starting out. I hope you do though, I'd be interested in reading.
