Oh... my... god...
My legs, they fecking hurt. My chest, it fecking aches. I just got back from the Yoshida Brothers show and oh my god. So last year they were great and made of absolute awesome-sauce... this year, they were OMFG@$%^&uhf$^%gferty AWESOME and made of SUGOI-SAUCE!!!!! They really, totally outdid themselves.
They recently released a new album, but the set list was made mostly of older songs -- which is NOT a bad thing at all. The biggest difference, though, this year they have a friend traveling with them; A FREAKING DRUMMER. And HOLY CRAP AND A HALF!!! As if it wasn't hard enough to choose a brother to oogle at, they added another guy to their tour. The drummer was crazy amazing. I don't even know what to say about him except for HOLY CRAP! At first I was a little "heeeeh?" about the addition of a drummer since the brothers are excellent alone, but the drummer I really need to find out who he is really made the show exceed what it was last year. Not to mention the fact that their music has really evolved into crazy-ass rock with a taste of super-speed metal. Dammit, it was mind blowing. I was seriously near tears this time. The brothers each had a few minutes to do solos (accompanied by the best drummer on Earth)... and I was completely *___________* and breathless. Near tears, I tell ya. That and I was totally getting asphyxiated minus the whole losing consciousness part xP - just holding my breath throughout the performances. I just really wished that they performed like... A LOT more. XD The opening band was totally meh - the vocalist was funny'ish at least. XD GAH!!! I've got soooo many rambling thoughts running throughout my 6lb mass of gray matter - but I can't get it out. I'm just still *___*.
Okay, I'm gonna stop writing now and start breathing again. XD This was a lot shorter than I had expected. Maybe I'm just tired. One thing though, the venue only had like 10 freaking fliers. Lame? Yeah, kinda. Alright, I have to do the dishes now. *sob* Then get some sleep. XD Oyasumi!
