HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
Hope you all enjoy fireworks, cookouts, and various other celebrations of the holiday today! It's certainly one of my favorites :D
Now if only I didn't have to go work at CWC from 10 to 7....
Oh well, at least there's a cookout, and swimming, and all that stuff!
Oh, and the Spikes game last night? TOTALLY AWESOME. For one thing, Missy and Maddie were "there," for lack of a better word. They were into it and they had a good time. It helped, of course, that we were second row, right behind home plate :) Also, anyone who's ever been to a minor league game knows that they do silly games and such in between innings, or at half innings, where they get people from the crowd to compete in silly games like "sing for your supper," where you sing a popular song and they give you a gift certificate to a restaraunt. Well, Maddie, Missy and I signed up for three of these little contests each, and MISSY GOT CALLED! She got selected to play "Hit it or hold it", which is essentially just Blackjack on the big screen. And she won a t-shirt, a hat, and a free sub from a local sandwich place. It was pretty awesome, I gotta say. I also bought myself a new Spikes shirt (it's adorable, I'll have to take pictures) and Josh got himself a hat. I'm debating whether or not I want to sew plush spikes to the top of it :P
