food musings
i was just thinking yesterday that i'd like to try making some stuffed squash (i was thinking a cranberry walnut stuffing in acorn squash), as i got an acorn squash the other day and want to do something interesting with it.
then today j_mo and i were trying to make plans for seeing for your consideration (the new christopher guest movie, comes out tomorrow) early next week, but we were foiled because apparently though the movie comes out tomorrow, it's not showing in philly til next wednesday. boo!
but we decided that monday we'd get together and watch waiting for guffman instead, and make some dinner. i floated the stuffed squash idea and j-mo went for it, and with a little recipe searching we came across this recipe for stuffed acorn squash with herbed goat cheese. squash. stuffed with meat. and cheese. and barley. and other tasty stuff. it sounds so freaking good...now i want to eat it. now.
