as if i need to feel more ridiculous right now
...i just realized that i have no idea if there's a linguistic/useage difference between "toward" and "towards". are both of them correct? in what contexts? i should probably know that kind of thing, but i don't. i'm sure i could find an answer but, instead, i posit this question to livejournal and i'm sure someone else will know. enlighten me. the grammaticality of a final paper is on the line here; don't let me down.
