Just got home.
Am ridiculously tired.
We crawled into our tent at about 5am, right after Willy's band was finished playing and he had gathered all his stuff back into the van- we could hear people (Luke) jamming around the stage till at least sunrise, but after that I was out like a light and don't know how long everybody else was up.
It was a weird feeling: When we went inside there were people all over the place- on top of our van, dancing around the stage, sitting around the monster bonfires- just everywhere. But in the morning when we crawled out of the tent there was probably a total of 10 people other than ourselves around. It was almost like to Apocalypse had stuck... except I don't think a tent would have saved us from that. The field was almost completely empty and all the tents were gone.
Can't wait till Feather gets the pictures developed.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather
to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, throughly used up, totally
worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a ride!"
