(no subject)
things i like, lately:
-i've been practicing my banjo(!) and i'm absolutely loving it! i've been taking my time learning and practicing over and over again. my fingers hurt a little but soon they will callus and get used to holding down strings.
-dale and i switched rooms (his studio room & my craft room). sure i loved that room, but i didn't need that much space and he did (he has so much stuff/equipment!).
-my schedule. i've been having weekends off, which is a glorious thing.
-baking. i made the best brownies ever the other day.
-reading. i'm such a procrastinator when it comes to books. i always start about three and never finish any of them! i'm taking it one at a time and trying to read almost every day.
-buying a car (soon). i've been saving up my money to buy a car that i'm going to pick up next weekend! sure i haven't been able to go shopping (except for one trip i took to regeneration where i found the perfect velvet dress), but it's ok.
my birthday is on monday and christmas is soon after. i don't know about you but i love christmas. i love the decorations, the lights, the music, action! i also can't wait for this year to be over with. i've done some amazing things, taken some awesome trips, but i feel like i haven't accomplished that much. i promise. 2011 i will not let you down.
