While imbibing a pear martini at the excellent City Bar in the Lenox Hotel, on a date, no less...
A reporter from Channels 38 and 7 in Boston (same owners and they share newscast resources) came in to do a story on a study that as people age, they are drinking less hard liquer and beer and more wine.
I basically said "Yeah, i still drink the hard stuff....."
It was all kinda surreal and embarrasing.. I mean, who wants to be on the TV news for.... drinking. We'll, I was, sounding gay and dopey going on about how i drink "classic cocktails" now.... ugh.
Ah well, there's my 15 minutes of fame.
