Changes and more changes
The only thing constant is change.
As much as I like this journal, I find it difficult to make time to update it. Maybe subconsciously I don't want to, who knows. But nevertheless, here is another feeble attempt to do just that.
Life is moving right along these days . . .
I've taken the big plunge by making that BIG commitment - I'm speaking of the "marriage" thing. Whoah! Uh-huh. The love of my life is now my life partner. It's hard to describe the feeling. A lot is the same but different. There is an extra level of closeness that is just not there until you make those vows in front of your family and friends. When you find the right person, when you know it's right . . . it's a beautiful thing.
My band, 66 STEPS, just released a 6-track demo EP that is freely downloadable from our website (http://www.66steps.com). We've had so many obstacles over the past 1/2 year or so. I hope this is the turning point. I think we still have much musical ass to kick.
I've also been working a lot on films lately. Got so much of my own gear now that it's sick. We shot a short film on Halloween as a goof and it actually turned out kinda cool! Got some more shorts we're working on and even one or two BIG projects. Feature-length baby!!
So, things are coming along per usual. Life is pretty good. I hope I hang around for awhile. :)
