let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Oooook, feeling a lot better now.

This week is gradually getting better and better. Monday I actually applied for a job! The humane society is hiring a front desk person. That would be such a great job for me right now, I hope they call.

Lots of plans being made for this weekend, I can't wait. Friday, Abby and I are going downstate. I'll probably get her groomed too, or at least give her a bath at home. heh. Friday night I'm going with my parents to Greenfield Village for their Holiday Nights! I'm so excited we're going this year, it's so beautiful & fun & totally gets you in the mood for Christmas. <3

Saturday I'm baking cookies with my grandparents yayyyy. I'm trying to make a tradition out of it that started last year, and I'm thrilled we're able to do it this year. Saturday night my parents are taking me to Greektown! yummm. I haven't been there in a few years. Sunday I'll start making my way back up here, but I'm stopping to see Dave first! We were just going to do lunch or something, but then I saw that I actually have Monday off at Pier 1, so I'm going to stay for his choir concert and spend the night. yayyyyy. fun fun fun.

It's been so wonderful having Abby here. Yesterday she had the best time. Behind where the old buildings are at the old state hospital, there's a bunch of nature trails through the woods, so we took a little hike. I let her off her lead, and she got to just bolt through all the snow & trees and trails. She had the whole winter wonderland to herself, it was so fun to watch her. Hopefully we can go back tomorrow and I'll take some photos, I can't believe how beautiful it was back there. Think "The Chronicles of Narnia" when Lucy first enters Narnia in the first one and it's all wintery. It looked exactly like that.

I work a lot today, that is crap. I've had to work both flex shifts at P1 because people are sick. ugh. Hopefully we'll be slow since the weather is so bad.

There is so much snow up here. There's already almost a foot, and it's going to keep coming all day today and tomorrow. I like it for the most part, it's really beautiful up here in the winter. Well, it's always beautiful, but it's just so nice to have real snow for a long time instead of just the ugly slushy crap we get downstate.

meh. off to work.
