okay, so obviously i was bored this weekend, being trapped studying at home & not getting to spend easter with my family. so i went on a mission to transform an old pair of jeans into a
balmain ss09 inspired pair of bleached/torn ones :)
(

& you're very welcome! i'll be glad if it's useful for even just one person :)

And I love that black V neck. Might have to try that, too.

definitely try both!
the cool thing about bleaching black fabrics is that you never know what type of colours you'll find underneath! the dying processes to get fabrics black are varying & that's apparently why there are always different looking shades of black. when you bleach, you can get browns, oranges, reds or pinks. in my case, an orange colour came out after about 20 minutes after i splattered the shirt in a slightly diluted bleach :)
i actually put a dab of bleach on the inside seam of my grey tee & the result was a light pink! so now i'm considering destroying yet another tee! :D

lol, when i looked up 'lookbook' on tumblr, even though i don't really understand the results... i did see my butt in thumbnails twice.

what i'm trying to grasp is like, this for example: http://lookbookdotnu.tumblr.com/post/96071007/destroy-everything-you-touch ... what does it mean when people "like it" is it about as meaningful/less as a facebook-like? and then what are the 'reblogs' haha. i'm just trying to understand this cause i seem to be behind on things like this, twitter & polyvore etc... perhaps i just look into them too much to try and find an actual purpose.
thanks for showing me that one by the way! it's so pretty & organized compared to the other ones i just started... tumbling... upon? lol
