spoilerphobe whining
You know what I hate? When people think they're being clever, and talk about specific spoilers in vague terms, or by only mentioning a single aspect of a particular spoiler (especially in the middle of an otherwise unrelated post, but that's another rant for another day), because... I don't know. Maybe they figure this one little detail won't matter?
But the thing is, when 10 or 20 people on my flist do the same thing, with different wording or different aspects of the same spoiler? Uh, I'm pretty smart. I can put two and two together, and it has about the same cumulative effect as just reading the dame spoiler myself.
*sigh*
And yes, I realize that it's my own fault for... getting online at all, I guess. Silly me for thinking that I could look at someone's icon journal or just skim my flist THREE MONTHS before a show comes back to air without hearing all about whatever the hell spoilers people are freaking out about.
So, yes, I know. My life is so hard, boo hoo. Whatever. I'll be over here working, I GUESS.
