So I have suddenly come to the realization that I, at the ancient and decrepit age of 23-and-slightly-more-than-a-half, somehow have no idea what I want to do "when I grow up." I know what I don't want to do...
Fast Food (management or otherwise)
Secretarial work with no benefits (what I'm doing right now)
Dentistry, medicine (human or animal), psychology
Factory work
Telemarketing
...but those are only a few things out of millions of possible fields. I'm on the downhill side of 23, I have a Bachelor's degree (in English, of all the useless fields), and I don't know what I want to do for the next year of my life, let alone the next five or ten. I have a short list of things that I want out of a profession or career or whatever you call it, I'm just not sure how to get from here to there. There are so many possibilities open to me that it's driving me insane trying to decide.
