Take measurements and weigh in
... so I can get a handle on exactly where I'm at. Though I may need a more reliable scale - I've seen one weigh-in a couple of days ago at 222 and today's was 213.4. buh?!

Figure out a car contingency plan
... because my brakes may be shot on the van, and I am NOT keen on investing in a vehicle that'll need another repair next week. (needed $100 belt about a month after I got it and a new battery just before my birthday. This'll be 3 repairs in 3-4 months. Not okay.). The husband of a friend of mine works for a used car dealership, and I may be comfortable getting a sedan that's 5-6 years old at a reasonable deal - their daughter's was a 2004 domestic that cost $2200, and $115 lease payments (not sure if $2200 was the amount down or the total cost. Seems low). My options are: a) replace the brakes, b) take Transit for awhile and save up for something brand new, and c) go the used car route but possibly save up a bit for a smallish downpayment (a couple of grand).

Figure out any student financing that may be available to me
... so I can get started on my coursework at Athabasca. I want to have one course paid for and received by Nov 1 so I can get underway.

That's about it for now. Food-related goals are coming down the pipe too, but I'm not sure what exactly. I know generally that I want to have more fruits and veggies in my diet and cook more from home and have more "raw/whole" foods (as opposed to processed), but until I figure out a routine, I'll still be in "experiment" mode.

Onward and upward!
