From what I've heard, fanfilming's pretty popular in Japan... And, of course, there are those Discworld movies floating around out there somewhere.

On an only mildly related subject, have you ever heard of "Ringers"? It's an excellent documentary-thing about LotR fans. It's great. I have it and watch it every now and again when I find my dedication to fandom has starting slowing down. Or just when I want to watch other people geek it out as ents. ^_^
But it's got a lot of information about LotR itself and LotR's fans throughout the ages. It's fascinating.

It is?
(Why am I even surprised? If it's weird, it's big in Japan... ;) )

Discworldmovies? What DW-movies? Must go look now... *hysterical giggle*

Ringers, eh? Don't think I have, i should defenitely check it out, though... might be just what I need to get my fanfic-muse up and running again.

Thanks for the tip!
