Well, I'd wanted my first post to be something fairly weighty and important. Or at least important sounding. That would have been nice. But I find myself inspired by Dougygyro's posting about 30 song lyrics. So I'm going to give it a whirl myself, with the same caveats and curlicues, thoug less maniacal laughter. No googling, only intelligible

For future reference, you can get the spiffy LJ-link for people by using the special lj-code - try username to get username. Quotes are optional since spaces aren't allowed in LJ usernames, afaik. Still not sure who you are - I'm guessing ilsitane's SO. Am I right?

Love the first song. Small world - I just watched that episode 20 minutes ago with my kids. Must raise the next generation with an understanding of hyperbole and social satire!

I'm starting to fear that "Shuffle" has picked some of the most obscure tracks I have....
