My first post. Go me.
Well, I'd wanted my first post to be something fairly weighty and important. Or at least important sounding. That would have been nice. But I find myself inspired by Dougygyro's posting about 30 song lyrics. So I'm going to give it a whirl myself, with the same caveats and curlicues, thoug less maniacal laughter. No googling, only intelligible lyrics, no title in the lyrics quoted. Ah well, perhaps there will be some bitter with the sweet in the future.
Having done this exercise, I can only conlcude that I have a lot of oddball music, much of which is just plain silly. If Obadiah is reading this, he's likely to get quite a few.

2. "There's a little tiny number on a fold of matches / the ink drips from a little dancer's pen. / everybody wants that fold of matches / to reinflate their confidence. / hey, its a job, it pays a lot. / is it disservicing someone?"
3. "My girlfriend, my dumb donut / went out to a party just the other night / but three hours later, and seven shots of Jager / she was in the bedroom with another guy"
4. "I put my forhead to the door / and I heard the famous sound of infedility / Looks like I've loved and lost once more / oh, but all's fair in love and war supposedly. / I couldn't even burst in on you / see scrabbling sheets hear your excuse."
5. "Your mom came out with just a towel on (towel on) / I could tell she liked me from the way she stared (way she stared) / And the way she said "ya missed a spot over there" (spot over there)"
