Fun Little Game/Interesting Challenge
Here's a fun little challenge. Without peeking, how many bands can you name twenty songs from? It's an interesting exercise. I'll bet most people can name 20 Beatles songs, but who else?
ilsitane and I tried this out and comparing the lists afterward was quite interesting. Some bands are virtually impossible, as their song titles aren't in the lyrics. Hello, New Order, I'm talking about you.
I can name twenty songs from XTC, The Beatles, They Might be Giants, The Cure, Erasure, Oingo Boingo, John Wesley Harding, The Beautiful South, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Barenaked Ladies, and The Police.
I was disappointed to discover I couldn't come up with twenty from The Clash or The Pet Shop Boys. Though I do come agonizingly close.
