school trip so on

So Edmonton was amazing! I am so glad I got to spend that time with my family. I had a fantastic time. I spent to much money but it was on stuff I needed (mainly new bra and sweaters and socks!). It was just great. I am dissapointed it had to end so soon but it was nice to have time away from life even if it was brief.
I got an A+ on my first Anthro paper which I am very proud of. It makes me feel like my goal of a 4.0 average is actually possible. Then Ihad my Anthro midterm and it was easier then I expected so I am hoping for another A but  I am probably not going to get it. Women and Gender Studies midterm was harder then I anticipated especially because the first two questions were on the movie I missed and the next one was on an article I didn't read. I still feel I did well, either way no use in worrying about it now because I will not find out for 2 weeks.

Reading week! So I was very excited for reading week until I looked at my work schedule. I work today (Friday) Sat, Sun, Tues, Thurs! which I dislike a lot. I would have rather worked. Friday-Monday then had the rest of the week off.  I am really considering getting a new job (one closer) but mostly I do not  work at all right now. Technically I could be unemployed but I would rather have some money coming in (especially considering all the spending I am doing).

At least I have friday/saturday off like I requested. Maybe I will see what Lisa is working and try to give her my thursday shift.

Also I just haven't felt like going to sociology or film at all lately. I am going to sociology for sure today because I have missed like the last 4 classes. I am so glad to have the next week off school and actually kind of excited to write my papers because I tend to do great on them.

vacation, work, university
