Valentines Day Cupcakes Edmonton and School
So Monday is Valentines day and I am very excited! Which is strange because I normally do not care about Valentines at all but this year I printed off awesome Valentine Cards. I only ended up printing 3 because I didn't have the change to print more :( but at least Bren Lizzy and Rob will get them. So I just have to cut them out, glue them to cardstock and think of awesome things to write in them!
But the more exciting news: I am going to make wicked awesome Cupcakes! So I kind of spoiled the surprise for Lizzy and Brennan because I was too excited! I am going to make Red Velvet Cupcakes with chocolate hearts(that have caramel in the middle) inside the cupcakes topped by French Vanilla Kahlua Chocolate Frosting! How delicious does that sound?
Brennan's present will not be in on time unless it arrives on monday which is doubtful. I am making the cupcakes sunday instead of monday because on monday (v-day) I have class till 12:20 then I will be going to the airport at 2 for my trip to edmonton!
I am very excited! My dad is taking the whole family (plus paul) to edmonton for 3 days. Most of us are going to see cradle of filth. We are staying at West Edmonton Mall but mostly I am excited because I get to hang out with my family for almost 3 whole days (minus tina keith coral and kelsy because they will be visiting keith's family in edmonton) But I will get to see them for the flight and such. It is going to be an exciting week.
It just could have come at a better time. We will be gone Monday, Tuesday and back Wednesday evening then I have a midterm on Thursday in Anthropology and another midterm in Women and Gender Studies on friday! So I am also going to have to catch up on my reading for WGS tomorrow/monday and bring my notes with me to Edmonton and attempt to get some studying done. I am way more worried about Anthro especially because I will be missing the class on Tuesday when he tells us more about the test and will be going over more material which will be on the test. Oh well.
My goal for university this year is to have a 4.0 GPA. So far I believe I am doing okay. I finished Academic Writing with a 4.0 and as long as I do decently on my last to Sociology test I will get at least a 4.0. I have no idea where I am standing in film but I did okay on the midterm and well on the written. I am very concerned about our short silent film because I have absolutely no faith in the story behind it and our prof thus far seems to not like it at all. Unfortunately it is the only idea we have and I just cannot see it turning out very well and the people in our group are.... not the greatest. Ugh. I think WGS should be doable as long as I do well on the rest of the assignments and tests (my first assignment in that course I got a D! it was awful! )
