...What's a badger? It kind of looks like a tanuki... Dylan thinks it looks like an oversized rat, but he's hungry, so I don't think his opinion's accurate. At least it's not a bird or a cat, I don't understand what the dunce hat was thinking... But why would I understand what a dunce hat thinks? It's a hat, even if it can read minds. I wonder if it promotes stupidity. I'm pretty sure the English make you wear a dunce hat so you become stupid. Maybe the dunce hat induces stupidity into your brain when it's put on your head. It can read your mind after all. But if it induces stupidity, does it mean it's very stupid itself? If not, how would it impart stupidity if it doesn't have any? But if it's stupid, does that mean its decision which House I ended up in is the worst House for me? ...so confusing.
Why do we have these journals? I thought I read electronic technology can't function on Hogwarts grounds. Or is this not electronic technology? Or did someone fix that problem? If they did, why haven't they fixed the staircases yet? Or are they supposed to promote inefficiency like that? This place is strange.
