Big Brother auditions part 1 - what happened?

Jan 10, 2007 19:57

Ok, I said I'd try to have this up by Sunday night or Monday but to be honest I just wasn't in the mood for it.

I went to the Big Brother 8/2007 (UK version) auditions at the SECC here in Glasgow on Sunday morning and to be honest it was quite enjoyable (or a good laugh depending on what you want to call it).

So I'm going to pretty much run down what went down throughout my time there, so I'm going to break this down into about 2 (maybe 3) parts.

Let the show begin...I guess...

----
So on Sunday morning I got up at around 7am to get ready for the start of the thing at 9am. So I did the usual shower/getting ready B.S. and grabs a couple of slices of toast before I got dressed (in case I made a mess or something).

At about 8-8.10am I head off towards the SECC while I was still a bit sleepy, it was also dark and cold out. From where I live it takes about a half hour drive (give or take) to get to the SECC, so I had plenty of time to get my wits about me before I got there.

So I got there around 8.30(ish)am and head where the entrance was. A couple of security guys asked if I was there for the BB auditions and re-directed me to where I was to go. The only problem was that it was cold as hell and I had to walk round part of the building to get there, so the damn cold definitely made me more alert : )

I eventually arrived at "Hall 2" of the SECC, which just looked like a big ol' warehouse/storage facility. Anyway, after navigating my way around a maze made out of security barriers I got to my place in the queue and there was no turning back.

Coming up...

Why did I crawl through a bunch of people's legs?

Why did I "bust a move"?

What made me weak at the knees?

Why did I feel completely energized when I left but at the same time feel a little bummed out?

All this and more coming soon, so tune in same bat time, same bat channel.
